Games from Laois football to jenga in Portlaoise for Old Fort Quarter Festival

The Laois v Dublin Leinster football final is keeping Portlaoise pubs full this Sunday, as seen in our video.

Out on Main Street watch families enjoying other games like giant jenga and chess, milk the cow and duck fishing, all as part of the Old Fort Quarter Festival which continues late into tonight Sunday June 24.

Music has played all through the festival and Kavanagh's Ukelele Troup can be seen in our video as part of today's lineup that included locals like Fionn Marum, Curtis Walsh, Music Generation Laois and Vocalese. Tonight the top attraction is Smash Hits at 10pm, with Soul Beats at 6pm and James O'Connor & Alan Smyth at 7.30. Rounding off the sunsoaked festival tonight will be a street disco with DJ Bob Conway at 12.30.
