Developer reveals progress on building new Portarlington

Rapid progress has been made by builders Dúnkeel on a new residential development in Portarlington.
The developers have published a short video of work done since construction began in 2023.
"After seven months of dedicated, hard work we're thrilled to showcase our development of 71 stunning homes in the making!
From breaking ground to the present day, this video captures the journey of Cushina Avenue.
"Every frame reflects the hard work and precision that has gone into crafting these dream homes for future residents," the say.

The projects on the property consist of 71 houses of various sizes:

· 7 Detached 4 Bedroom Houses

· 52 Semi-Detached 3 Bedroom Houses

· 6 End-Terrace 3 Bedroom Houses

· 6 Mid-Terrace 2 Bedroom Houses

Dúnkeel said the houses are arranged to provide balanced landscapes, addressing a series of shared landscaped areas. They say the house types are oriented to maximise sunlight and all houses have large back gardens.

The development includes 10% houses being constructed under the Part V provision for social housing.

The development is taking place in two phases and all the infrastructure works will be completed in Phase 1. The model house will be constructed in Phase 1 so that all buyers can view the property and get clear ideas about the finishes of the property.

The builders say extra attention has been given towards the landscape and Ecological Impact of the development. Dúnkeel Ltd says it gives environment safety priority during its development projects and has given priority towards retention of existing trees on the site.
