WATCH: Portlaoise school sends lovely messages to seriously injured past pupil

A Laois school has a lovely video message for past pupil Daniel Wolski, who was badly injured in a fall while on holiday.

St Mary's CBS principal Maura Murphy led the get well wishes to Daniel, 20, who is partially paralysed since his fall and needs specialist rehabilation therapy to help him recover.

"We're hoping that everything that can be done will be done for you and you make a full recovery," she said.

The school in Portlaoise held a fundraising day last Friday for his care. Read about it here. 

An online fundraiser to pay for his flight home and treatment stands at €21,600 with a target of €30,000.
