Electric Picnic has announced it will be releasing a special edition jersey for this year’s festival to raise money for a great cause.

Thousands of festival-goers will make their way to Stradbally for this year’s Electric Picnic which will run from Friday, August 28 to Sunday, August 30.

Huge acts have been announced for this year’s festival, including Lewis Capaldi, Fontaines DC, Gorillaz, Sombr, Zara Larsson and CMAT.

With preparations well underway ahead of this year’s festival, Electric Picnic has now announced it will be teaming up with O’Neills and Guinness for a special edition Electric Picnic jersey.

The money raised from each purchase of the jersey will go directly to support Médecins Sans Frontières.

The jerseys will cost €60 for a short sleeve and €65 for a long sleeve. They are available as of today, July 30 exclusively from oneills.com.

Commenting on the partnership with Electric Picnic, James Towell from O’Neills said: “We’re delighted to partner with Electric Picnic and Guinness on this unique collaboration, bringing together three iconic Irish brands to celebrate music, culture, and community. At O’Neills, we’re proud to create products that connect with people and become part of memorable moments, and this jersey brings together the heritage of Guinness, the creativity of Electric Picnic and O’Neills’ expertise in sportswear design.

“Knowing that every purchase will also support the incredible work of Médecins Sans Frontières makes this collaboration even more meaningful for us. We’re excited to bring this special jersey to fans and are delighted to be the exclusive retailer, with the jersey available to purchase on oneills.com from 30th July ahead of Electric Picnic. We’re looking forward to seeing it worn throughout EP weekend.”

Senior Brand Manager at Guinness Ireland, Gustavo Levi, added: “We are thrilled to bring Guinness to Electric Picnic this year, and what better way to celebrate than by joining forces with Electric Picnic and O’Neills on a classic piece of Irish culture – this special edition festival jersey.

“Celebrating Irish heritage and community spirit is at the heart of everything we do at Guinness. We can’t wait to see festival-goers proudly wearing the jersey in Stradbally this summer, all while supporting the vital work of Médecins Sans Frontières.”
