CEMETERY MASSES
The annual cemetery Mass in St. Kieran’s Cemetery, Errill will be held on Friday August 21st. Mass will be held on Thursday July 30th in Grogan Church Grounds for Grogan and Closed Cemeteries. Bealady Cemetery Mass will be held on Friday July 31st. All Masses at 7:30 pm.
ERRILL GAA LOTTO
The Errill GAA jackpot was not won last week. There were two match three winning tickets, Seamus & Claire Bergin, Knockardgannon and Edward Holohan, Barney winning €50 each. The numbers drawn were 10 - 12 - 15 and 28. The jackpot on 20th July will be €7100. Tickets for draw are available in Post Office, Dowlings Bar, Ray’s Bar and from local promoters.
OSSORY SHOW
The annual Ossory Show will take place at the Showgrounds, Coolfin Cross, Mountrath Road Rathdowney on Sunday July 26th. There will be competition classes in cattle, sheep, horses, poultry, jam, home-baking, arts & crafts, vegetable produce, flowers and many more. There will also be junior classes in all of the above. The show will include many attractions on the day including vintage show, cookery demonstrations, trade stands, dog show and more.
