New autism classes for three Laois schools

A new class for children with autism has been approved for St Joseph’s School Borris-in-Ossory, Clonenagh School Mountrath and Gael Scoil an tSli Dala Ballaghmore.

A new class for children with autism has been approved for St Joseph’s School Borris-in-Ossory, Clonenagh School Mountrath and Gael Scoil an tSli Dala Ballaghmore.

In Borris-in-Ossory and Clonenagh the new class will be for primary school children, while in Ballaghmore it will be an early intervention class for younger children before the go to primary school.

“I am pleased that there is a good result to the applications by these schools for these much needed special resources for children in the area,” said Deputy Sean Fleming.
