Caoimin O’Brien from Offaly Heritage/ Archaeology Committee is giving a talk and slide show on the history of Kilmanman in the Parochial Hall on Tuesday March 8 at 7:30 pm. Everyone is welcome.

1916 at Dunamaise

Portlaoise active retirement association in conjunction with students of CBS Transition year and Gaelscoil Phortlaoise will commemorate and re-enact the 1916 Easter Rising, the life and times of that era through words, music, song and dance. Artists include Vocalese, MGL harp ensemble and well-known local personalities. On Wednesday March 9 at 2pm in the Dunamaise Arts Centre. Tickets €5 and family of 4 is €15.
