TIDY TOWNS
Last week seven native trees were planted at the Community Centre for the seven signatories to the 1916 Proclamation. A Clonaslee stone slab will be inscribed in Irish and erected. These trees will in time show the contribution of all Tidy Towns, and the community spirit in Clonaslee. Thanks to Mick Flynn, Paul and Caitriona Ryan, Brian, Horticulture & CES employees. The committee wish Mick Fallon a speedy recovery.
CLEAN UP LAOIS WEEK
Clonaslee Tidy Towns will be doing a clean-up on April 12 and 14. Scoil Bhríde students will help with the clean-up on April 13. We ask all clubs and organisations to please give an hour. Litter pickers, gloves and bags supplied. All roads, estates, Brittas Lake, GAA field and the village will be covered. Please help out.

Laois Open Door Theatre presents "The Cripple of Inishmaan" by Martin McDonagh in the Dunamaise Arts Centre on Friday 15 and Sat 16 April at 8 pm. A 'must see' production, combining comedy and drama. One of Martin McDonagh's most brilliant plays. Laois Open Door Theatre is an amateur drama group.
