Well done Nicole
Very well done to our brilliant local athlet Nicole Turner who did so well at the recent IPC European Open Swim Championships in Portugal. Nicole three medals at the competition recording nine personal bests in the process. The Coláiste Íosagáin student was welcomed home by her parents Jason & Bernie. She was also honoured by her school last week and a there was a party for her in Killenard last Friday night. Very best of luck to Nicole in her quest for selection for the games - Portarlington will be right behind you Nicole!

Portarlington Community Responder Group thank all who came along to the AGM last night. A few new committee members now with jobs to do and one or two familiar faces now in different roles. We will be looking to recruit some new members and do some fundraising over the coming months so please keep an eye on this page for info.
Schemes like this cannot work without community support so if you know of anyone you think might be interested in getting involved, we would love to hear from them. No experience necessary, all training provided and if there is anyone who would like to help but feels they couldn't be a responder, there's always other jobs that need doing- any help would be greatly appreciated.
