Portlaoise Musical Society celebrates two decades of musicals this year as they present their 20th Anniversary show in the epic Titanic-The Musical at Dunamaise Arts Centre Portlaoise from 24 November to 1 December.
The society launched their stunning 20th Anniversary show 'Titanic - The Musical' in the Dunamaise Arts Centre.
It will be presented by a 74 member cast and team including Director Paul Norton, Choreographer Grace McGrath and Musical Director Emer Hartnett.
Chairperson of Portlaoise Musical Society, Sharon Dunphy said: "We can’t wait to bring our biggest and best production yet to the stage this November/December to celebrate our 20th anniversary”.

Titanic-The Musical takes place at Dunamaise Arts Centre Portlaoise from Saturday 24 November to Saturday 1 December at 8pm nightly, other than an earlier start time of 6pm on Sunday 25 November. Tickets are priced €18/€15/€12 (Conc. Sun & Mon only) and are on sale from Dunamaise Box Office, Tel: 057 8663355 or www.dunamaise.ie.
Portlaoise Musical Society which was formed in 1999, has enjoyed 20 very successful years. Shows include - 1999: Oklahoma!, 2000: Carousel, 2001: Calamity Jane, 2002: Me & My Girl, 2003: The Hot Mikado, 2004: Anything Goes, 2005: Fiddler on the Roof, 2006: Oliver, 2007: Crazy for You, 2008: Sweet Charity, 2009: Pirates of Penzance, 2010: Beauty & the Beast, 2011: All Shook Up, 2012: Singin’ in the Rain, 2013: Grease, 2014: Jesus Christ Superstar, 2015: The Addams Family, 2016: Hello Dolly, 2017: Rock of Ages, 2018: Titanic - The Musical.
