The woman was conveyed to University Hospital Limerick for treatment of serious injuries. She was pronounced deceased yesterday evening.

Students from Laois, Leinster and around the country celebrated their graduation at the Institute of Technology recently.
More than 2,700 degrees, masters and PhD students will graduate at Institute of Technology Carlow during November across its campuses and locations in Carlow, Wexford and Wicklow.
They joined over 55,000 alumni since the Institute’s establishment almost 50 years ago.
