A wonderful evening of academic celebration was held at Portlaoise College Institute of Further Education in October when 223 graduates received Level 5 and Level 6 QQI Awards within 16 disciplines.
Over 90% of this year’s graduates are progressing on in education at universities in Ireland and the UK, IT colleges or completing the second year of their course in the College.
Those graduates who have not continued on in education are in full time employment in their chosen vocational area. Mr John Mulholland, Chief Executive Office of Laois County Council was Guest of Honour at the Awards ceremony.
A most enjoyable evening was had by the graduates, their families and college staff.
