Portlaoise Pantomine Group presented their 34th annual show, Beauty and the Beast at the Dunamaise Arts Centre to packed houses over the past week..
Portlaoise Panto always present highly entertaining shows with lots of well known local characters taking to the stage and the 2018 edition lived up to previous high standards.
The production featured a superb chorus, senior and junior dancers all playing their parts of villagers, towns people, and many more, all contributing in no small way to the continuity of the actions and antics of all the main characters.
“Beauty and the Beast – The Panto” ran from January 20 to 27. Photographer Alf Harvey went along to the opening weekend for the Leinster Express.
