Over 300 ladies from all over Ireland flocked to Portlaoise for Pippa O'Connor's Fashion Factory at the weekend.

Almost 1,000 people passed through the doors of The Midlands Park hotel over the three days as the blogger and businesswoman held talks and demonstrations with some industry leaders.

Opening the show on Saturday, Pippa O'Connor said that she wanted the day to be a carefree, relaxing day out especially for any mothers in attendance.

"Nothing we are discussing today is too serious I think you are going to be surprised by just how much you learn, that's why we have pen and paper in front of you, you are going to feel like you are back in school taking notes.

"I know there are lots of us here in the room but we are all here for the same reason if you have a question please do ask, we have waited a while now to be here so we want to make the most of the day and don't be shy.

"It amazes me that not everyone is from the area or surrounding area, people have come from all over I know we have people who flew in from London or Manchester so people must be up in the middle of the night getting ready so you deserve a prize for best dressed!" she said.

The creator of the Pippa Collection welcomed a number of experts on stage for demonstrations and Q&A sessions.

Professional makeup artist, Tara O'Farrell, gave a makeup demonstration using a mix of her favourite products and informing the audience on a number of affordable and high end products.

Skincare expert, Jennifer Rock, also known as The Skin Nerd, had an interactive chat with Pippa and the audience on their skincare queries.

The day also consisted of a fashion show, tanning demonstration and all attendees received goodie backs with beauty products.

Tickets for the three days of events sold out in minutes, coming in at around €100 per ticket the event is in huge demand.

Pippa is one of Ireland's leading online bloggers and influencers with her own collection of denim, candles and planners.
