Over 200 ESB customers in Laois are currently experiencing power cuts.
ESB Networks have confirmed that 237 customers in Laois are experiencing power outages across three areas.
In Graigue, over 41 properties are without power, with power expected to return by 4pm.
In Stradbally, 123 properties are without power due to a planned service interruption. Power is hoped to be restored by 5pm on Wednesday.
In Abbeyleix, 73 premises are experiencing outages, with power expected to be returned at 1pm. However, the town continues to experience outages.
"We apologise for the loss of supply," an ESB spokesperson said.
"We are carrying out essential improvement / maintenance works in your area and will restore power as quickly as possible."
