Laois country star comes home to the Midlands to celebrate big birthday

One of Ireland's top country stars Shawn Cuddy is celebrating his 60th birthday in style this month with a super concert to mark the special occasion at the Tullamore Court Hotel on Wednesday 17th May and what a night it is going to be.

Originally from Camross but now residing in Donegal Shawn Cuddy has had a glittering career that has spanned over four decades.

At the top of his game, he has scored countless No.1 hit songs like "Story for my Daddy, Merry go round of Live and Can We go around again" to name but a small few and just last month released a brand new 15 track album which is currently selling like hot cakes all across the UK and Ireland.

Shawn can be seen and heard on a regular basis on TV and radio stations all across the country and has legions of fans across every art and part of the country.

Shawn will be joined at the upcoming concert by special guests Philomena Begley the Queen of Country Music, the wee man from Drumlish Declan Nerney and young rising star Owen Mac.

They'll each showcase their trademark hit songs in the company of Irelands' top backing band Keltic Storm.
