Rathdowney Parish Choir have invited locals to join them as they practice for Daniel O'Donnell's Christmas Concert.
The Parish choir began practicing for the Christmas Concert with Daniel O’Donnell on Monday, September 23 in the Social Daycare Centre, Cuan Bhríde.
"New members are very welcome to come and join us," a representative said.
"You don’t have to read music or even be a wonderful singer, and singing in a group has been proven to be good for your physical and mental health. So come and join in the fun!" they said.
Daniel O'Donnell has held several successful Christmas concerts in Rathdowney over the last number of years.

With a fondness for the Laois town, the singer previously recorded a cover of Danny Haverty's 'Lovely Rathdowney' on his 2022 album 'I wish you well'.
He has performed on many occasions with Rathdowney Parish Choir.
Those who wish to join Daniel O'Donnell in his Christmas concert are encouraged to contact Maureen on 087 2035203 to be added to the choir WhatsApp group.
