Laois community stars the Timahoe Male Choir are launching a debut CD, and in true rock style have recorded a music video of their jazzed up version of the county's anthem Lovely Laois.
The launch with special guests will take place at the Manor Hotel, Abbeyleix, Co. Laois on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 8.30pm.
In a social media post, the all-male choir posted: "We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our debut CD! Join us for an unforgettable evening featuring performances by: Timahoe Male Choir, Stradbally Community Choir, Tim Chambers, DJ Noel Brennan... and more surprises to come!"
They had fun making the video at iconic Laois locations including the Rock of Dunamaise and Timahoe Round Tower on Sunday, January 19.

The 48 strong community choir are entering their second year together having been quickly thrown into the spotlight, most notably their performance at Electric Picnic 2024, on RTÉ with the 2 Johnnies, and taking to stages across the country drawing massive crowds in the last year.

Tickets for the launch are on sale for €20 including the booking fee and capacity in the venue is limited to 300 people.
