Fontaines DC accepted their award from Australia
Fontaines D.C. took home a Brit award for the Best International Group of the Year at the awards that took place on the 1st of March.
The band accepted the prestigious award from Australia and was given to them in recognition of their global reach and success.

The band from Dublin took home the award for the second year running, as they managed to scoop the award the same award this time last year.
From the video in Australia the band said:
"Hello Brit awards its Fontaines DC, were here in Australia and we're buzzing with this, thanks very much. We weren't expected to get it a second time and this year in particular we were up against some really great people in that category."
Joining the Irish band was winners such as Charli XCX with Album of the Year, Artist of the year, Dance Artist, and Songwriter of the year.
As well as Sabrina Carpenter for Global Success Award.
