When is The Traitors Ireland on TV again as RTE tease 'explosive argument'?

The Traitors Ireland returns to our screens on RTE One this weekend after capturing the nation's attention last Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

In a world of on-demand streaming, this traditional TV hit is a return to watercooler television with thousands of people up and down the country discussing the show with family, friends and colleagues this week.

The series kicked off last Sunday and new episodes aired on Monday and Tuesday. It has been a ratings hit for RTE with over 600,000 people watching Sunday's opening episode and around 500,000 tuning in both Monday and Tuesday.

Hosted by Derry Girls star Siobhan McSweene, the Slane Castle-based show sees contestants attempt to identify the traitors among them to win a €50,000 prize. Last week saw Tipperary garda Eamon, Galway leadership consultant Katelyn and Limerick retired prison officers Paudie chosen as the traitors. They most kill off their fellow contestants each night before being rumbled and kicked out themselves.

RTE is already teasing an "explosive argument" in the next run of episodes kicking off on Sunday, September 7 at 9.30pm. The TV listing preview for Sunday's episode says: "The traitors continue to wreak havoc on the faithfuls at Slane Castle. In this edition, there is a mission which will test ethics and powers of deception."

The teaser for Monday's show, which airs slightly later at 9.35pm, reads: "Tensions are high as suspicion is everywhere. An explosive argument leaves the players reeling, and threatens to have an impact on the round table.

A preview of Tuesday's episode, also airing at 9.35pm, says: "The game intensifies at Slane Castle, a shocking turn of events leaves the players unsure of who to believe."

The Traitors Ireland continues every Sunday at 9:30pm, Monday and Tuesday at 9:35pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player. Catch up on all the betrayal, banter and behind-the-scenes bombshells with The Traitors Ireland: Uncloaked, hosted by Kevin McGahern, directly after The Traitors Ireland each night.
