Tickets on sale in Laois for the much-anticipated show in Portlaoise

Successful quiz night warms up for big Portlaoise Panto

Portlaoise panto quiz night in Grellan Delaney's raised funds for the 2026 production..

Portlaoise Pantomime Group have just held a successful table quiz to support their upcoming big show in January.

The quiz at the end of November in Grellan Delaney’s bar in Portlaoise was held to raise money for this year's production  'Goldilocks and the Three Beours'.

Tickets are now on sale for what the panto crew promise will be a "hilarious and chaotic pantomime", the classic tale of Goldilocks and the Three Bears gets completely turned on its head, thanks to a spelling mistake. Instead of bears, we meet the 3 Beours. Three eccentric ladies named Cat, Wanda and Nada whose misadventures launch a riot of mix-ups, songs, and slapstick.

Amidst the mayhem, friendship, laughter, and love win out - proving that even in a world of spelling mistakes and chaos, a happy ending is never too far away. Full of pop songs, puns, and pantomime fun, Goldilocks & The 3 Beours is a fast-paced, family-friendly comedy celebrating 41 years of local Portlaoise panto tradition—with heart, humour, and plenty of glitter!
