The Make & Mark named a finalist in this year's Bar of the Year Awards
A Laois bar in the running for the best newcomer award at this year's Bar of the Year Awards.
The Make & Mark in Portlaoise has been named a finalist in the awards, organised by the Ashville Media Group, with winners set to be announced at a lavish event in the Clayton Hotel, Dublin next month.
"With over 1000 entries, this year’s Bar of the Year Awards has attracted more submissions than ever before, making the judges’ task incredibly challenging as the competition reached new heights. After thorough and intense deliberations, only the finest bars have earned their place as finalists. Following months of meticulous evaluation and an exhaustive search for the most outstanding venues, we are delighted to present the very best, the crème de la crème of the bar industry," say the organisers.
The Make & Mark will face stiff competition from across the country in the coveted Best Newcomer category.
This year’s awards ceremony will take place on Monday, August 18, at the Clayton Hotel on Burlington Road.
