A Laois business is getting in the spirit of Christmas by donating a big sum of money to a Children's Charity.
Staff at the Midlands Park Hotel in Portlaoise announced that they presented the Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation with €4,000 raised through their “Skip My Room” initiative.
"Thanks to the incredible engagement from our guests, approximately 4,000 room nights opted to skip daily cleaning or request towel replacement only," said the hotel.
"Your support has been inspiring—not only for its positive environmental impact but also for helping families in need. Many guests even chose to forgo redeeming their vouchers, prioritizing the charity contribution instead. A huge thank you to all our guests for making this possible! Together, we’ve made a real difference."
Jack and Jill is a children's charity providing support for children with neurodevelopmental delay in Ireland.
