Bring home a natural tree and support Portlaoise Lions and Laois Hospice
Portlaoise Lions Club members are set to be as busy as ever this Christmas and is appealing to the public to help them to help others.
The Portlaoise Lions Club food appeal at Dunne’s Stores Portlaoise on Friday, December 2 - 3. The appeal this year aims to assist the work of Laois Domestic Abuse Services.
The Lions say you can support this very worthy charity by purchasing some non-perishable food items and placing them in the Portlaoise Lions Club trollies situated at both entrances to Dunne’s Stores.
Meanwhile, the Club will be busy with Laois Hospice on the Christmas Tree Sale takes place at the KWS Comlex on the Timahoe Road, Portlaoise in the run up to the Festive season.

Finally, the Portlaoise Lions Club Book sale takes place on 10am-5pm on November 25 10am-4pm and November 26 at the Laois Shopping Centre. Donations of quality books welcome on the day or may be collected if you contact Richard on 085 1743836.
