Laois Gardai seized two cars in recent days from disqualified drivers.
A driver who was wanted by the courts was stopped in Portlaoise.
“Yesterday in Portlaoise another Disqualified Driver was arrested and taken off our roads,” Gardai said.
“This driver also had three warrants for their arrest and was brought before Tullamore District Court where they were remanded in prison,” they stated.
Elsewhere, Laois Roads Policing Unit on patrol near Arles stopped a car and discovered the tax was out over 500 days.

“The driver behind the wheel was disqualified. Driver arrested and charged to appear before Athy District Court. The vehicle was seized,” Gardai said.
