Laois Gardaí have appealed to the public to report illegal hunting.

They have been working with the National Parks and Wildlife Service to try and combat wildlife crime in the county.

“An Garda Síochána Laois Offaly and the National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) are continuing to work together to address illegal trespassing and wildlife crime in our Division. By combining resources and expertise, we are committed to protecting our local environment and wildlife and ensuring the safety of our communities,” Gardaí said.

“If you see or suspect any illegal hunting or other illegal activity, please report it to your local Garda Station or the NPWS. Together, we can make a difference,” they added.
