Audi car stolen after Laois house burgled on Halloween night

An Audi car was stolen from a Laois house on Halloween night after thieves broke in and took the car key.

Laois Gardaí are asking the public to help them with their investigation of the crime.

A spokesperson told the Leinster Express / Laois Live of the frightening event on the night.

"A burglary took place on October 31 in the Ballylinan / Ballyadams area, at some time between 6pm and 2am.

"The kitchen window was smashed and the latch opened. There was nobody at home.

"Rooms were ransacked. The key of a car was taken and a white Audi car was stolen.  The registration starts with 171 KE," the Garda spokesperson said.
