A white 2017 Audi (not the actual stolen car)
An Audi car was stolen from a Laois house on Halloween night after thieves broke in and took the car key.
Laois Gardaí are asking the public to help them with their investigation of the crime.
A spokesperson told the Leinster Express / Laois Live of the frightening event on the night.
"A burglary took place on October 31 in the Ballylinan / Ballyadams area, at some time between 6pm and 2am.
"The kitchen window was smashed and the latch opened. There was nobody at home.
"Rooms were ransacked. The key of a car was taken and a white Audi car was stolen. The registration starts with 171 KE," the Garda spokesperson said.
