Laois Gardaí's Road Policing Unit have arrested a driver in Ballacolla for a series of alleged road offences.
While driving through Ballacolla, Gardaí said they did 'a quick 180' on Sunday January 4, when their ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) system detected a vehicle that allegedly had no motor tax.
Gardaí took to social media on the incident, sharing a series of dart puns.

"Bullseye," Gardaí said.
Once Gardaí "stepped up to the oche" and stopped the driver, they noted that the driver was allegedly committing a string off offences.
The driver was allegedly a learner permit holder driving unaccompanied; was disqualified from driving; failed to surrender their licence, and was driving with no tax.
Despite all of these offences, Gardaí remarked that the driver 'was still driving anyway'.
"That’s what we call a bold strategy. The driver has been arrested and charged, with the vehicle checked out. More amateur league than Ally Pally. Game over," Gardaí finished, with dart board emojis.
