Laois Gardaí have arrested several motorists for allegedly driving while intoxicated this past weekend.
Two drivers have been arrested for drug driving, while two drivers were also arrested for drink driving, the Leinster Express / Laois Live can confirm.
On Saturday January 17, a driver on the Cappakeel road was arrested at 12:30 in the afternoon for drink driving.
Also on January 17, a driver was arrested at 7:40pm in Killmalogue, Portarlington for allegedly failing a drug test.
On January 18, a motorist was arrested on Grattan street in Portlaoise for allegedly failing a drug test.
On Sunday January 18, a driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated at Cooltedery, Portarlington at 12:50pm in the afternoon.
