Laois Gardai who seized a car from a driver summed the enforcement action up by stating, ‘Hokus Pokus… No More Focus’.
Gardaí say a driver who had been banned from driving was arrested behind the wheel 11 hours later.
This Ford Focus was stopped by Laois RPU(Roads Policing Unit) in Rathdowney.
“The driver behind the wheel was just 11 hours into a two year disqualification,” Gardaí said.
They arrested the driver, seized the car and the driver faces another court appearance.
“No magic spell strong enough to make a court order vanish,” Gardaí added.
