Allegedly assaulted Portlaoise bar security

Kildare woman who snatched handbag from Monasterevin convent given suspended sentence

A probation report has been ordered for a man who allegedly assaulted security staff in Portlaoise. 

Ahmed Emara, 22, of 4 Farmleigh View, Farmleigh Woods, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 is accused of assaulting two men who were working as security at Coppers, Market Square, Portlaoise on October 2, 2021. 

Judge Andrew Cody remanded the man on continuing bail until May 18 for a probation report.
