Concepta Bambrick - Stradbally
The death took place on December 14 of Concepta Bambrick, (née Byrne), Bawn, Stradbally, Laois, peacefully at her home, surrounded by her beloved husband Brian and family.
Predeceased by her parents, sister Nancy and her brother Paddy. Sadly missed and forever loved by her husband Brian, daughter Amy, sons Eoin and Evan, brother Martin, mother-in-law Lila, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, kind neighbours and all her friends.
Concepta will repose at The Presentation Chapel, Stradbally on Monday from 4.30pm with Recital of Rosary at 8pm. Requiem Mass will take place on Tuesday at 11am in the, Sacred Heart Church, Stradbally and afterwards Concepta will be laid to rest in The Heath Cemetery adjoining the Church of The Assumption, The Heath, Co. Laois

Sean Geoghegan - Ballacolla
The death took place on December 13 of Sean Geoghegan, Coolbally, Clough, Ballacolla, Laois.
Sean passed away unexpectedly on the 13th December 2025, following a tragic accident.
Sean is predeceased by his father John and his brother James (Jimmy).
Sean will be greatly missed and is deeply regretted by is devoted mother Breda, his heartbroken wife Barbara, much loved father of Hannah, Kevin, Jamie-Louise, Clodagh and Aaron, his grandson Rian, his brothers and sisters Liam, Mary, Gerry, Ann, Theresa, Paddy, Paul, Catherine and Stephen, his Aunts and Uncles, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

The death took place on December 13 of John Mealy, 14 Geraldine Road, Athy, Kildare / Laois.
Predeceased by his loving wife Teresa, parents Margaret and Patrick, brothers George and Joe, sister Mary and nephew Francis. Deeply regretted by his loving daughters Mary and Gail, sister Ann, son-in-law Seán, grand-daughters Chloe and Andrea, grandsons Aaron, Ryan amd Billy, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Vinie Flaherty - Clonaslee
The death took place on December 13 of Vinie (Mary) Flaherty nee Horan, Timahoe, Donadea, Co Kildare and formerly of Wranglestown, Clonaslee, Co. Laois.
Surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Mary, siblings Pat, Sheila, Denis, Terry, Tom, Matt and John. Beloved wife of the late Andy and adored mother of William, Tommy, Andrew and David. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her brothers Chris and Frank, sisters Anna-May and Bridget, daughters-in-law Catriona, Pat, Audrey and Shirley, grandchildren Pamela, Tommy, Declan, Yvonne, Ciara, Aoibheann, Michael, Andrew, Jarlath, Eimear and Muireann, great grandchildren, Aoibheann, Grace, Tommy and Aiobhe, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
John Hyland - Stradbally
The death took place on December 12 of John Hyland, 27 Corrig Lane, Station Road, Portarlington, Laois, late of Rathgilbert, Athy. Predeceased by his parents Madge and John Hyland, Rathgilbert House , Ballylinan and sister Ita (Curtis). Deeply regretted by his loving brothers and sisters Maureen, Bridie, Eilish, Denis, Michael and Imelda, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Rigney's Funeral Home, Athy (R14 TX26) on Monday evening (December 15th) from 5pm until the conclusion of the Rosary at 8pm. Removal at 10.30am on Tuesday morning (December 16th) to arrive at St. Anne's Church, Ballylinan for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Ballylinan Cemetery.
Kay Conroy - Portlaoise
The death took place on December 13 ofKay Conroy (née Breen), Newpark, Portlaoise, Laois and formerly Garbally, Shinrone, Co. Offaly.
Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Joe. Dearly loved mother to Ray, Paul, Helen (Bergin), Gordon, Barry (Brussels) Maeve (Armitage) (Australia). Predeceased by her brothers Donal and Tadhg. Deeply regretted by her family. Sons in law John and Rod, daughters in law Liz, Hazel, Maura and Ulrike and her dearly loved 17 grandchildren. Sisters in law Breda Breen and Frances Conroy, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and former colleagues in the nursing profession.
Reposing at Keegans funeral home on Sunday evening from 6.30 pm until 8 pm with rosary at 7.30 pm. Funeral arriving at SS Peter and Pauls Church on Monday for 1 pm requiem mass. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Pauls cemetery Portlaoise.

Florence Geoghegan - Durrow
The death occurred on December 11 of Florence (Florie) Geoghegan (née Cantwell), Sandyhill Gardens, Ballymun, Dublin / Formerly of Durrow, Co. Laois.
Peacefully, surrounded by her family in the compassionate care of the doctors, nurses and staff at The Mater Hospital; pre-deceased by her loving husband Michael and grand-daughter Shannon. Florie will be sadly missed by her best friend, daughter Ann, sons Michael and Alan, grandchildren Lisa, Jean, Leanne, Aaron, Amy and Daniel, great-grandchildren Mason, Carter, Harvey, Hudson, Layla, Tommy, Ava, Hugo, Kayla, Clodagh, Crioa and Tommy, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Florie's Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday December 17th at 10.00a.m. in the Church of the Holy Spirit, Sillogue, followed by cremation in Dardistown Crematorium.
