Jamie Brydone - Emo

The death took place on Thursday, December 7 of Jamie Brydone of New Inn, Emo, Laois

Peacefully. Predeceased by his parents Victor and Peggy and his brother Peter. Deeply regretted by his brothers David and Richard, Uncle Anthony, Aunts Joyce and Barbara, sister-in-law Mary, nephews Leon and Aaron, relatives and friends.

Removal from Moloney’s Funeral Home on Saturday at 12.20pm to arrive at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Emo for Requiem Mass at 1pm. Burial afterwards in New Cemetery, Emo.

Frances McEntee - Mountrath

The death took place on Thursday, December 7 of Frances McEntee (née Loughney) of Portlaoise Road, Mountrath. 

Peacefully at her home, predeceased by her son Graham. Sadly missed by her husband Paul, daughter Debbie, son Dave and her extended family and friends.

Funeral Arrangements to be announced later. 

Kevin Slattery  - Portarlington and Clare 

The death took place on Thursday, December 7 of Kevin Slattery of Botley Court, Portarlington, and formerly of Spa Street, Portarlington and Cappavane, Scariff Co Clare and late of Bord na Mona.

Peacefully at St Vincent's Hospital Mountmellick. Loving husband of the late Margaret and dear father of the late John. Deeply regretted by his loving family Patrick, Margaret,Teresa, Kevin, Sally, Gabriel and Angela, sister Celia, sister-in-law Sally, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. 

Reposing at his daughter Angela's residence, Bog Road, Portarlington on Thursday from 6pm with Rosary at 9pm. Reposing on Friday from 12 noon with Rosary at 9pm. Removal on Saturday at 11.20am arriving St Michael's Church, Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to St Michael's Cemetery, Portarlington. 

Andy Doogue - Abbeyleix

The death took place on Wednesday, December 6 of Andy Doogue of Boley, Abbeyleix. 

At the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise, Deeply regretted by his sisters Peg, Mary and Kathleen, brother James, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Burke's Funeral Home Mountrath on Thursday evening from 5pm with Rosary at 7pm. Removal on Friday evening at 6.30pm to St. Fintan's Church, Raheen, arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday morning at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Patrick Power - Kildare and Portarlington 

The death took place on Wednesday, December 6 of Patrick (Paddy) Power of Gabriel's Place, Naas and Portarlington.

Beloved husband of Lucy and father of Dympna, Monica, Declan, Anita, Kevin and the late Jim. Deeply missed by his loving wife and family, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Reposing at the George Mullins Funeral Home on Friday from 4.30pm with Removal at 6pm to arrive at the Church of Our Lady and St. David Naas at 6.30pm. Funeral on Saturday morning after 10am Mass to St. Corban's Cemetery, Naas.
