The Stradbally Electric Picnic Residents Committee has good news on the ticket front for locals.
They say that over the coming days committee members will be delivering letters to households who are eligible for EP 2023 residents days tickets.
They say the letter will set out your ticket collection date, time, ticket collection number and amount payable.
They ask people to please remember to have their ticket collection number on hand when collecting tickets.
Another 'a gentle reminder' from the committee is that only cash can be accepted on the night.
This year 884 Stradbally residents registered for tickets - 630 in the pink zone and 245 in the black zone. Just nine applications were deemed ineligible. Of the 884 applications, 875 are eligible accounting for 1,750 tickets.
"We are delighted to let you know that all eligible residents will receive two EP2023 day tickets," say the Committee in a note to the community.
As per pervious years, pink zone tickets will incur a charge of €30 each while black zone tickets incur a charge of €50 each.
Upwards of 75,000 people will descend on the Laois town when the Picnic reconvenes at Stradbally Hall from September 1 to 3. Electric Picnic began as a one-day event in 2004.
