Irish Rail issued advice ahaead of busy weekend in Laois

Events such Electric Picnic, the Dublin Horse Show and AC/DC are all due to take place this weekend

Irish Rail report "anti-social issue" has resulted in 40 minutes delay on Sligo-Dublin train

Irish Rail is warning customers to expect busy trains this weekend due to the Electric Picnic,  Dublin Horse Show and AC/DC concert. 

“If you are travelling this weekend services are expected to be extremely busy due to various events taking place throughout the country,” Irish Rail stated. 

Both the Electric Picnic and the Dublin Horse Show take place from August 14 to 18 while AC/DC are playing Croke Park in Dublin on August 17. 

Irish Rail said customers are advised that pre-booking online is essential to guarantee travel on services. They are reminding people that alcohol is prohibited on trains.
