Portlaoise woman Karina Kotlara who moved to Ireland when she was a tot, is ready to do the town and her parents proud at the Laois Rose Selection Night this Good Friday.
Karina who is sponsored by Marum & Co, told the Leinster Express / Laois Live all about herself.
"I’m 24 and from Portlaoise, Co. Laois, where I’ve lived since I was four—long enough to pick up a thick Irish accent that often has people thinking I’m native Irish.
"I studied Marketing and Management (Level 8) at TUS and completed a Level 9 in Project Management at UL, along with a Level 9 in the LEAN Thinking module," Karina said.

She has chosen the busiest sector in Irish business to work in.
"I currently work as a Site Administrator on a building site, driven by the goal of climbing up the ladder. My biggest motivation is to one day support my parents and give them everything they deserve for giving me a better life here," Karina said.
The Laois Rose Selection Night takes place in the Midlands Park Hotel, Portlaoise on Friday, April 18. The winner will take part in the televised International Rose of Tralee in Kerry this August.
