Pictured: Mountrath's Cosy Choir takes to Ballyfin Demesne
A Laois choir has taken to the luxury Ballyfin Demesne for a stunning carol service.
The Cosy Choir recently had the honour of performing at the magnificent Ballyfin Hotel conservatory — an unforgettable experience for the group and a true highlight in what has been a landmark year.
Celebrating ten years in formation, and following on from their hugely successful summer concert, singing in such an elite and beautiful setting was both humbling and inspiring for the group.

"Being invited to perform at Ballyfin was a wonderful vote of confidence in the choir, and we are delighted to share the exciting news that we are already booked to return again next year," a representative told the Leinster Express / Laois Live.
"This has given the group an incredible boost and renewed confidence as we continue to grow and develop together.
"As we move into the festive season, the Cosy Choir will also be sharing the spirit of Christmas locally. We will be performing our final Christmas songs this Friday evening at 6.30pm, outside Serene, Mountrath, beside Spar," they said.
"It promises to be a lovely way to begin the Christmas weeks, and everyone is very welcome to stop by, listen, and enjoy the festive atmosphere," the choir finished.
Over the summer, the Cosy Choir delivered an unforgettable performance that left audiences beaming with pride and joy at Bloom HQ in Mountrath on Friday, June 20. For more on the concert, click here.
