Beloved Laois artist Trudi Lalor has had an eventful 2025, and is eagerly looking forward to 2026.
"My New Year's Resolution is something I will do for the first time in my life," Ms Lalor said.
"I'm going to do the Women's Mini Marathon in aid of animal rescue charities, it's something I've always wanted to do and have never been able to make the time," Ms Lalor said.

"I've already started my training and people who have done it in the past have been coaching me on what to expect, so that's one thing I'm looking forward to!" she said.
The singer and Lovely Laois Homecoming Festival organiser is also excited to share her new album in 2026.
"I started my latest album in the middle of last year, I really want to see it finished and released this coming year. I am also so excited for our second Laois Homecoming Festival, the inaugural event this year was a phenomenal success!" Ms Lalor was pleased to say.
"There is a demand there to increase the event to a four day festival, so we are considering some events we can hold on the Thursday. I'm looking forward to extending on the event and building it, I am very fortunate and blessed to be involved in such events," she said.
Ms Lalor also teased an exciting upcoming project for the new year, that she is not ready to share details on just yet.
"I am really excited to share a project this January and early February, it is an extension of work I currently do, but in a new field," Trudi shared.

"This past year was so fantastic, and I am feeling very positive about 2026. I learned so much in 2025 through the Homecoming festival, that I have put to great use in other aspects of my life.
"I'm very lucky to get the support from the people of Laois- this festival and my music aren't about me, they are about bringing people together to reunite and share experiences," Ms Lalor finished.
