Laois have a representative on this week's GAA Team of the Week. Eoin Lowry scored 2-6 of Laois' 2-13 on Saturday evening against Waterford and he rightly takes his place at full-forward in this week's team.
His impressive tally was more than enough to get Laois the victory and the two points as Laois defeated Waterford 2-13 to 1-5. Lowry will be hoping he can replicate that form going into the last two league games as Laois look to push for promotion into Division 3.
Leitrim are Laois' next opponents on March 19 before a trip to London on March 26. Laois are currently top of the table and a win in Carrick-on-Shannon would strengthen their bid to reach Croke Park on the weekend of April 1/2.
