IN PICTURES: Portlaoise Rugby Club host fun-filled day in memory of Will Sherlock

On Saturday, the Irish Prison Service and Portlaoise Rugby Club flocked to Togher to remember their dear colleague and a great friend Will Sherlock. For the kids there were bouncing castles and plenty of fun games while for the ‘bigger’ kids there was a rugby match between Portlaoise RFC and the Prison Service.

Earlier in the day there will be a tug-of-war and musical entertainment. Later that evening there was an auction of rugby memorabilia including signed jerseys, while there was also a raffle with amazing prizes. All money raised on Saturday day will be donated to the Cuisle Centre in Portlaoise. Photographer Denis Byrne attended the event for Leinster Express/ Laois Live. Tap NEXT or ARROW to see more pictures.
