WATCH: Laois GAA County Final fever hits Clough-Ballacolla ahead of Rathdowney-Errill showdown

This week is a big week for Laois hurling as the 2024 Laois Shopping Centre Senior Hurling Championship comes to a close with Clough-Ballacolla set to face Rathdowney-Errill for the right to lift the Bob O'Keefe Cup.

The sides last met in a County Final in 2012 when a replay was needed and Rathdowney-Errill won 0-17 to 0-14 after they'd played out a 1-11 to 2-8 draw in the first game.

Mary's Bar in Clough are a sleeve sponsor on the new Clough-Ballacolla jerseys and they posted a video on their Facebook page of the Rise and Shine Band with their own twist on the ever popular Fisherman Blues which is called 'The Boys of Aghaboe'.

The County Final will take place on Sunday, October 6 from 4pm. The game will also be live on TG4.
