New Laois Senior Hurling manager Tommy Fitzgerald will get his tenure underway on Sunday when he welcomes Offaly to Laois Hire O'Moore Park.
He has named his side for the game against Offaly with it being the same 15 that was due to start the game against Westmeath last weekend before a post-Storm Éowyn freeze meant that the pitch in TEG Cusack Park was unplayable.
Offaly come into Sunday's game off the back of an opening round draw with Carlow. Laois will want to get one over on Offaly to begin their 2025 campaign as Offaly got the better of them in the Joe McDonagh Cup final last June.
