The Laois Senior hurlers have seen a second game in this year's Division 1B postponed due to the weather with the breaking news that Laois Hire O'Moore Park is unplayable for their game against Carlow.
The local rivals and neighbours were due to clash in Round 4 of the league with Laois looking to make it back-to-back wins after they got the better of Westmeath last weekend.
Their original fixture against Westmeath was also called off due to a frozen pitch in Mullingar after Storm Éwoyn had ripped through the country. Laois GAA have confirmed that the fixture details for the game against Carlow will confirmed at a later date.
The Laois and Carlow game is the fourth hurling game to be postponed on Sunday, February 23 after Limerick v Kilkenny, Cavan v Armagh and Wicklow v Roscommon were all called off this morning due to unplayable pitches.
