Portlaoise LGFA appoint new management team for 2025 season

Portlaoise LGFA have announced the appointment of a new senior management team for the upcoming season.

Kevin O’Grady will take charge as manager, supported by selectors Ryan O’Grady, Lorraine McCormack, and Mark Brophy. Kiev Gray joins as goalkeeping coach, while Alyssa Velles will oversee strength and conditioning. The Female Liason Officer will be Eimear Keogh.

O’Grady expressed his enthusiasm for the season ahead, highlighting the collective effort of both management and players. "I’m delighted to be working with such a dedicated management team and really looking forward to being involved with such a committed and talented squad of players."

The club also had this to say, "We'd like to extend our sincere thanks to Ronan Molloy and his backroom team of Ivan Byrne, Teddy McCormack, and Anthony Dunne for their hard work and dedication last season. Their efforts have been instrumental in driving ladies' football forward at the club. We are looking forward to the season ahead and wish Kevin, Ryan, Lorraine, Mark, Eimear, Kiev, and Alyssa the very best of luck. Hon The Town! "
