Justin McNulty's Laois senior footballers have found out who they'll face in this year's Tailteann Cup group stages after the draw was made on Wednesday afternoon.

Laois have been drawn into Group 2 alongside Offaly, Wicklow and Waterford. Laois will begin their campaign at home to Waterford on the opening weekend of the competition, May 10 & 11. They're set for an away trip to Aughrim to face Wicklow the following weekend before ending their group stage campaign against Offaly in a neutral venue on the June Bank Holiday weekend, May 31 and June 1.

The O'Moore County reached the final in 2024 and the semi-finals in 2023. Laois were beaten by Down on both occasions in Croke Park.

The second-placed team in each of the four Groups in Round 1 shall be drawn to play at home against New York and the
three best-placed third-placed teams in each Group on June 7/8. The draw shall be subject to the avoidance of repeat pairings
from Round 1 (Group Stage).

The four first-place teams from Round 1 shall be drawn to play at home against the four Preliminary Quarter-Finals
winners, subject to the avoidance of repeat pairings from Round 1 (Group Stage) and will take place on June 14/15..
The four Quarter-Final winners shall play against each other in the Semi-Final based on a draw, subject to avoidance of
repeat pairings from the championship, where possible, and the games will be played on June 21/22 in Croke
Park. The two winners meet in the final on July 12.
