The Laois Ladies footballers have had their TG4 All-Ireland Intermediate Championship group stage fixtures confirmed, as they prepare to begin their All-Ireland campaign.
Following Sunday’s TG4 Leinster Intermediate final defeat to Westmeath in Mullingar, Laois were placed in Group 1 of the All-Ireland series alongside Roscommon and Fermanagh.
Laois will play their two group games in the opening weeks of the competition before sitting out the final round with a bye. They'll be hoping qualification is already secured by then and that they won't be relying on the result of the Roscommon vs Fermanagh fixture.
First up is a home game against Roscommon on Sunday, June 1, with the venue still to be confirmed. That will be followed by a long trip to Fermanagh on Saturday, June 8.
The top two teams in each group will qualify for the TG4 All-Ireland Intermediate Championship quarter-finals, scheduled for Sunday, June 29. Group winners will earn home advantage in the last eight, with a draw to follow after the conclusion of the group stage.

Laois will now look to bounce back from their provincial disappointment and build momentum as they look to make their return to the Senior All-Ireland grade. Laois lifted the Intermediate All-Ireland title as recently as 2022.
