The Heath’s Seamus Mulhare is set to be the man in the middle for his second All-Ireland final in six months after being confirmed as referee for this weekend’s AIB GAA Football All-Ireland Junior Club Championship Final.

Kerry champions Ballymacelligott will face Tyrone side Clogher Éire Óg in Croke Park on Sunday afternoon, January 11. The Junior final will be the first game of a double-header, followed by the AIB GAA Football All-Ireland Intermediate Club Championship Final between An Ghaeltacht of Kerry and Glenullin of Derry, which is due to throw-in at 3.30pm.

Mulhare previously took charge of the All-Ireland Junior Football Championship Final between New York and London at Croke Park in July 2025, a game New York won by a single point to secure their third Junior title in a row.

The Heath GAA clubman also refereed the 2025 Laois SFC final between Courtwood and Portarlington. Courtwood, appearing in their first senior final, forced a replay before reigning champions Portarlington claimed their fifth Laois Senior Football Championship in six years with a three-point victory two weeks later.

Sunday’s AIB GAA Football All-Ireland Junior Club Championship Final throws in at 1.30pm in Croke Park and will be broadcast live on TG4.
