Participants turned out in impressive numbers for the 10th annual 5K/10K challenge hosted by Graiguecullen GAA Club. A decade on from its first staging, the race has grown from strength to strength, attracting runners, joggers and walkers of all abilities each year. Organisers thanked everyone who took part, noting that whether participants ran, jogged or walked the course, completing the challenge was a fantastic achievement. They also expressed their appreciation to all who have supported the event over the past ten years. In the competitive results, Colin Coyne claimed victory in the men’s 5K, while Roisin O’Reilly was first home in the women’s 5K. The men’s 10K title went to Mpho Chauke, with Grace Kelly taking top honours in the women’s 10K. Photographer Paul Dargan attended for the Leinster Express/ Laois Live.  THE FULL GALLERY OF PICTURES WILL BE IN NEXT WEEK'S PRINT EDITION OF THE LEINSTER EXPRESS.
