GENERAL ELECTION: Morning figures are in for Laois General Election turnout

Scoil Bhride Polling Station in Knockmay Portlaoise

Polling stations opened across Laois at 7am on Friday November 29, with 65,873 registered to vote in the county.

Before 12 noon today, 553 people have cast their vote across Laois.

In the 2020 General Election, less than 5% of Laois voters cast their vote before 12 noon.

In comparison, only 0.8% of voters have turned out to vote in Laois this morning.

With over 70% of the county registered to vote in the 2024 General Election, here is a breakdown of voter turnout in Laois before 12 noon on Friday.
