Gardai have closed the N80 Road near the border with Laois following a collision.
The crash occurred between the Tullamore and Derryclure in Co Offaly shortly after 3pm.
Traffic travelling towards Tullamore from Laois is being diverted at Killeigh via the L2002(Gorteen) and the R421.
Traffic travelling towards Portlaoise from Tullamore is being diverted via the R421 and R422 to Mountmellick.
